DoTerra Partners with Utah Valley University on Autism Support Center

So cool! This means good things for parents of Autistic kids! Its hard to explain all of the unique challenges that my cute kid faces in "normal" social situations. Way to go DōTerra for helping recognize and provide an opportunity where there is a need! I'm super excited for the sensory garden!

DōTerra & How my birth experience was better because of it!

I am officially two weeks postpartum! This was my first pregnancy since becoming involved with DōTerra and it was by far my easiest and quickest labor at 4 1/2 hours total. Kambria Elaine Stock was born at 12:11pm and weighed 9lbs 12oz. The doctor's and nurses were curious about my diffuser and asked a ton of questions about oils. Much to my surprise, they were very open and receptive. I was diffusing peppermint & orange through my delivery and Balance afterwards. I don't know if it's a coincidence but I seemed to have a lot of "extra" nurses coming into my room and they seemed to linger and make comments about how yummy it smelled in our room. Despite the scary circumstances of my delivery, it was pretty low stress for me and I know my oils played a huge role!

Baby Prep

We are almost completely ready for our sweet little miss to make her entrance! I am 36 weeks 4 days pregnant and finally got both our hospital bags packed. This is my first pregnancy that I've had since I've been involved with DōTerra so I've been thinking a lot about which oils I want to use during and after my labor. I'm excited to take a more natural approach to childbirth! Here's what I came up with! I have my travel size sample oil keychain filled with enough oil to get me through my hospital stay, a roller bottle filled with oils to intensify and progress contractions, a postpartum "owie spray" and a calendula geranium balm to help with nursing.
